Some Michael’s Eagle-Gold watches have a plastic crown stopper added at the time of delivery to protect the battery life of the watch. If your watch has a plastic crown stopper, simply remove it and discard it properly. After removing the plastic crown stopper, pull the crown out until it clicks and set the watch to the correct time. After time setting, push the crown all the way in to start the watch running.
CALENDAR MODELS
Some Michael’s Eagle-Gold watches have a calendar feature. To set the calendar pull the crown out to the first click and then turn it until the proper date appears in the calendar window. To set time, pull the crown out to the second click and set normally.
BATTERY MAINTENANCE and REPLACEMENT
A good battery is essential for the proper functioning of the watch. Although battery replacement is not difficult, it is recommended that the battery be replaced by a professional jeweler.
WATCH MAINTENANCE
Your watch contains highly precise electronics. To maintain it’s high accuracy, you should follow the guidelines listed below for the care and maintenance of your watch.
- Do not submerge the watch in water-only if it is marked water-resistant can it be subjected to occasional splashing.
- Do not clean the watch with a harsh chemical.
- Strong or repeated shocks may damage the electronics within the watch.
- Extreme temperature changes may effect the accuracy of the watch.
